Cardology (Pty) Ltd is a business in the plastic card and secure identification solutions industry that supplies the SMART range of plastic card printers. The company also sells card related solutions such as pre-printed plastic smartcards and related card personalisation equipment and software.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within two working days and delivery confirmed by way of courier. Freight costs are calculated on the size, weight, value of product as well as the distance to delivery.
The provision of goods and services by Cardology (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Cardology (Pty) Ltd will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration fee. (If appropriate – provide details of your policy regarding damaged goods. Also mention guarantees, warranties, etc.)
Cardology (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Card transactions will be acquired for Cardology (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details will be stored by Cardology (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Cardology (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods. We will make our best attempt at keeping our website information as correct and up to date as possible, however we reserve the right to change prices and negotiate with you on favourable terms should items such as volatile exchange rate fluctuations and supplier agreements change significantly.
The Terms and Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that the Provider has the right, at their sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
Cardology (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
Please note that all card printer manufacturers have print head warranties that cover MANUFACTURER defects only and require print heads to be returned to the manufacturer for warranty claim inspection.
Damage by poor maintenance, willful for negligent operation, or dirt in the operation environment will render a print head warranty invalid. In the event of printhead damage the client will need to order and pay for a replacement head and the credit claim will be sent to the relevant printer manufacturer country offices for processing. This may take 6-8 weeks for processing. We will endeavour to prevent this at all costs by providing quality training and consumables as well as any further reasonable assistance as we are able.
