Ribbon for SMART 30/50

This ribbon offers superior premium quality and has a high adhesion to the card. It prints clear and crisp edges and also includes a cleaning roller.

You can use the SMART YMCKO ribbon for both single or double-sided colour printing on standard PVC white or pre printed plastic cards.

The YMCKO Colour SMART Ribbon has 5 Panels (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black, Overlay) and offers 250 single sided card prints per ribbon.

In addition to the standard colours (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan and Black), YMCKO SMART ribbons apply a protective varnish onto your cards, to retain a high quality of image despite its frequent use.

This process makes it possible to optimize the quality of printed images and logos with a 300 DPI resolution that guarantees expert presentation.

Printed cards from the SMART ribbon can, therefore, be used for up to 3 years.

Technical features

The color ribbon is polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with thin layer of specialized coating. The concentration of colorant is very low and they are insoluble in water. In the printing process they only diffuse at temperature above 50°C.

Storage recommendations

It is recommended to use this product within one year. Avoid dust, direct sunlight, high humidity and high temperatures. Do not place near solvent or other chemicals.

The RFID sticker on the ribbon allows for the automatic ribbon recognition by the printer to simplify  the user experience when changing ribbons and setting up the print software and printer driver. It also allows intelligent use measurement to keeping the operator usefully informed to the ribbon print count in the printer.
